We know that active participation in recreational activities is a major contributor to happiness and well being. To qualify as “recreation,” an experience must improve and enrich the quality of the participant’s life.
The Luther Ridge activities department offers a comprehensive recreational program that stimulates residents physically, cognitively, socially and spiritually. It provides therapeutic benefits as well as fun and entertainment. Residents may choose from a menu that includes physical activity, educational opportunity, wellness instruction, social involvement, creative expression and spiritual commitment. Activities occur individually or with groups, and may occur off-site.

Resident Art Gallery
The gallery at Luther Ridge opened in 2009 and features revolving exhibitions of artwork by residents, community and other local artists. This unique aspect of Luther Ridge developed when residents and staff recognized a wealth of artistic talent within the Luther Ridge family.
A desire to enrich the quality of life for all residents coupled with the availability of a beautiful space led the Friends of Luther Ridge to fund the creation of the art gallery. The gallery showcases the artistic creations of members of art guilds throughout the state, as well as a permanent exhibition of resident artists.

Dining With Us
For our residents, enjoying great meals and companionship while dining in an attractive setting is a special part of each day here. Alternate meal options are also available. Residents participate in determining the broad array of menu choices through the monthly food forum hosted by the director of Unidine dining services.
Unidine is committed to providing our residents with great fresh food. The team delivers high quality ingredients and prepares every entrée daily from scratch. Each menu is designed emphasizing seasonal, locally available ingredients. At Unidine their motto is: “Exceptional people providing exceptional service to exceptional customers.”
Wellness Program
Encouraging a culture of wellness in all facets of senior living; Luther Ridge’s Wellness Program provides a comprehensive interactive program of education and services for residents that enable them to actively participate in making the choices that result in a balanced and healthy lifestyle.
The wellness office is also available to triage any complications and coordinate with residents’ doctors to ensure the optimal level of care.
